No todavía

Solar cell technology: what decides how much your investment returns
Your module is only as good as its cell. That is the first rule most people ignore when comparing prices.
The cell technology decides efficiency, behaviour under heat, degradation and cost. Buying without understanding it is buying blind. And in this market, buying blind is expensive.
Let’s talk straight about the three that matter in 2026.
TOPCon is the standard — and the starting point
70–80% of modules manufactured today are TOPCon, with 24–26% efficiency and lab results above 26%. Industrial maturity, competitive cost and a consolidated supply chain. For most 2026–2027 projects, TOPCon is the rational decision: security of supply and a strong cost–performance balance.
HJT is the option for those who demand more
N-type technology, efficiency above 25% and a better temperature coefficient: it delivers more where heat bites, which is where it really shows. In return, it costs more and there is less supply. It is not for everyone: it is for those who put peak performance in demanding climates first and are willing to pay for it.
Perovskite is the future. Not yet
Lab records already exceed 30–35% in perovskite–silicon tandem cells. It is the most exciting technology in the industry. But it is still in pilots: long-term stability, reliability and production scale are not solved. Today it is not a buying decision; it is strategic watching.
The conclusion, without decoration
For a real 2026–2027 project, buy mature technology (TOPCon), prioritise real availability and clear terms, and keep HJT for projects where heat rules. Do not let a lab record make you pay for something that does not yet exist at scale.
